Kate's Apartment |
|
September, 1998 |
|
In September, 1998 Mary and Freeman flew to Tacoma for a one week vacation.
The first item on the list of activities to enjoy was visiting Kate in her
newly moved into apartment which is one block away from her school, the
University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington. |

Kate lives on the first story of this older house. Her
roommate from her dorm years, Olivia, lives on the second floor apartment.
From the their wooden decks on the back of the house, Mount Ranier can been
seen in the distance on clear days. What a magnificent view! |

Two low hedges frame the front walk. In the front yard,
next to each hedge, grow two large holly trees with shiny green leaves and
bright red berries. So the porch in front is always well shaded. |
