Scorpion and offspring

It is hard to imagine that a scorpion could do anything that a person would approve of. But apparently a scorpion does take care of its young. Although the adult scorpion is hard to see,  its young are plainly visible as the multiple white small animals on the back of the adult scorpion. These creatures reside inside a secure, glass fronted enclosure at the Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium in Tacoma, Washington.
