Personally we wished UConn or Southwest Missouri State would have been the one to cut net after winning the 2001 NCAA's Women's Championship, held this year in Saint Louis, Missouri. However, Notre Dame won this honor. The championship game was, fan desired outcome aside, just the way a finals game should be: an even match between two top teams. Both deserved to win, but skill and chance merge with the result that each basketball game ends with one victor.
