Gray wolf

The gray wolf  is the general name for wolves such as tundra wolves and timber wolves. They are an endangered species in the lower 48 states, except in Minnesota where they are a threatened species. Mary took this photograph at Northwest Trek, part of the park system of Tacoma, Washington.
